Nights Out, Finally!

So, for the first time in FOREVER, I went out this week. Not only did I go out, but I went out twice. Monday night I met Mel at "The Wine Next Door". It was some much needed girl time. Not to mention that I may have found my favorite, new, little hang out. We were able to go in and pretty much have the whole place to ourselves. We sat inside in the most comfortable, over-sized, leather chairs.

It is always so nice to get away from your everyday routine every once in a while. I get so used to a routine, it is so hard to break it. Usually when I am away from my kids, if I am not at work, I feel so much guilt. I have definitely got to get over that feeling.

When I am out, I sometimes can't help but smile when I imagine Blue's sweet, little smile, or remember something so funny "pink" said to me that morning. Those little thoughts definitely get me through my time away. Plus, they give me cute, little stories to tell my friends. I'm a proud Mommy!

So, after the night O' wine with Mel, I found myself heading to the golf course to play golf with Kacey. We got there around 5 and had a glass of wine with Mel, since she works there. Well, Kacey and Mel had never met and they definitely hit it off. We ended up postponing our round of golf and just hung out, chatting away. As if we hadn't covered everything the night before, ha!

I am so glad I got the chance to hang out with some of my girls this week, but I am more happy to be going home and taking the family walk.
